What's New in 2026

Four new features to start the academic year

  1. Campus Life

    Move-In

The Move-In integration let students and families see the entire flow. It includes custom instructions for early, regular, late, and after-hours arrivals; precise routing to the correct door of each building, accounting for non-standard pedestrian and one-way street patterns; maps of the nearest parking, recycling, and trash locations; and an overview map of everything at a glance.

  2. Campus Life

    COTA Passes

Students pay for access to COTA as part of their fees. The buses now have QR code readers and we enable them to ride buses wherever COTA goes. We are supporting this initiative by displaying a dynamic code that is scannable by the new hardware on the buses.

  3. Campus Life

    BuckID: Mobile Wallet

We partnered with Student Life and Transact in order to make the simplest possible experience for provisioning a wallet credential. Student Life also contributed a large FAQ in order to help people understand the process. Users that are eligible to provision will see a notice on many screens that says β€œEligible to Provision.” Tapping on that cell will pop up the provisioning experience from Transact. After completing this process affiliated users are then able to use their phone or watch to tap to utilize their BuckID account.

  4. Campus Life

    Convocation

Convocation happens annually. Most freshman don't know what Convocation is, nor do they know where the Schottenstein Center is. We start showing information about the event the day before and help students navigate down Lane Avenue to participate.
