The official Ohio State app and Buckeye Link bring the most important information into one place.
Features
There are over 60 different features in the Ohio State app, and many of them are mirrored in Buckeye Link. These tools allow us to support our students and their families, employees, alumni, and the general public.
Partners and Datasources
These apps would not be possible without collaborations with partners all across campus. By choosing to supply portions of data from source systems they enable us to create something that is greater than the sum of its parts.
Timeline
We started with a handful of features back in 2011 and have grown slowly over time. Ohio State is a big place and there’s always something else that we can add that will make the campus experience just a little better.
Design
Doing our job well doesn’t just mean adding new features, but also caring for what already exists. Our customers deserve to have a top tier experience no matter the platform they are on. This requires constant refinement, and it’s something we work on every year.
Reports
For many years we’ve put together reports that highlight what we’ve worked on and what the response has been: an annual report each year, plus start-of-term reports every fall and some springs. These reports help contextualize the impact that our apps have at Ohio State.
